Maternity Pants

Today I bought my first pair of maternity pants.  I was surprised to learn that they come in sizes small/medium/large.  What really threw me off was that it says to buy the same size you wore before you got pregnant...well my jeans have a number, not a letter. Needless to say, I wasn't convinced these pants were going to look good.  To my delight, the first pair of jeans I tried on actually looked good (other than the maternity waistband).  And...they were on sale!  Most importantly, I actually look pregnant in these pants and not just fat :)  Now I am looking forward to shopping for more maternity clothes with my mom this coming weekend.

Mommies milk cheese

As we were driving to our favorite bar (The Argus), one of our guy friends casually asks me if I will give him some of my breast milk after the baby is born so he can make cheese with it! Now, I have been asked a lot of strange questions, but I did not see this one coming. Apparently a chef in New York has recently been praised for making deserts using cheese made from his wife's breast milk. Although I think it is a creative and unique form of cooking, I don't think I am comfortable donating my child's food supply to make "mommies milk cheese". What do you think?
